Who it is for
A team that copies data between tools by hand, for example from forms to a CRM, a spreadsheet and a messenger, and wants it automated in n8n on its own server or n8n Cloud, without code nobody can maintain.
What is included
- 1 workflow map: the trigger, the steps, the data passed between them and who owns each step
- Up to 3 services connected in 1 production workflow, for example a form, a CRM and a messenger
- 20 test runs, including a failed call, a duplicate and an empty field
- 1 error workflow that alerts 1 channel when a run fails
- 1 runbook: how to restart, what to check first and how to change a step
Not included
- n8n Cloud or server hosting fees and paid plans of the connected services
- AI steps that read or write text for you (that is AI automation services)
- More workflows, or services beyond the 3 (estimated separately)
- Round-the-clock monitoring and support after handover
How the work runs
- 01
We walk through the process as your team does it today, exceptions included, and draw the workflow map.
- 02
We build the workflow in your n8n, with credentials stored in n8n rather than inside the steps.
- 03
We make 20 test runs, failures and duplicates included, and set up the error alert.
- 04
You run it on real data; after the revision rounds you receive the workflow, the map and the runbook.

Workflow map — A practical implementation map for n8n automation
Questions people ask before buying
01Cloud or our own server?+
Either. n8n Cloud is quicker to start; a self-hosted instance keeps data on your server and needs someone to update it. We recommend one for your data rules and your team, and build the workflow wherever you decide.
02What happens when a step fails?+
The workflow retries where a retry is safe and skips duplicates; if it still fails, the error workflow alerts your channel with the run and the reason. The runbook says what to check first.
03Why n8n and not Zapier or Make?+
n8n can run on your own server, has no per-step pricing when self-hosted and exports every workflow as a file you own. If Zapier or Make already runs your tools well, extending it may be cheaper, and we will say so.
04Can our team change the workflow later?+
Yes. The map and the runbook explain each step, credentials are stored separately, and a small change, such as a new field, does not need us.
05Can AI be part of it?+
Yes, as one step, for example to classify a request. When AI does most of the work, such as drafting replies, that is the AI automation services page, with its own tests.
