How much does presentation design cost? Per-slide and per-deck prices
Presentation design costs about $15–$75 per slide at small studios and $1,500–$6,000+ for a sales deck at agencies, according to price pages read in 2026. A 20-slide sales deck lands anywhere from $320 to $6,000+, depending on what the price covers. VITON13 sales presentation design starts from $53.
How much does presentation design cost?
Designers quote in four units: per slide, per hour, per deck and per month. Two quotes compare only after each becomes the same thing, a finished deck of a known length in a file you can edit, with the text either written or not. The table sets the usual routes side by side.
| Route | Published price | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Templates and DIY | Microsoft 365 Personal $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year; Canva Pro US$144 a year; Keynote free | Your own hours; consistency from one deck to the next |
| Freelancer marketplace | $35–$60 an hour; $300–$1,500 for a 15–30 slide corporate redesign (Upwork) | Who writes the text; whether source files are included |
| Small studio, per slide | $15 light edit, $35 redesign, $75 custom visual (PPT Design); $16, $43 or $66 a slide (24Slides) | Whether story, charts and revisions sit inside the rate |
| Agency, per deck | $2,500 to $11,400 for up to 10 slides (Hype Presentations); sales deck $1,500–$6,000+ (Nexaflow) | Project management, motion work, number of revision rounds |
| Subscription | $1,500 a month for 20 hours (PPT Design); from $2,000 a month (Nexaflow) | Unused hours, and who decides the priority of a request |
| In-house designer | $2,000–$9,000 a month (SlideModel); $4,000–$9,000+ before taxes and benefits (Nexaflow) | Pays off only if decks fill the month |
| VITON13 | From $53 AI-assisted or $73 human-led | The written scope sets slide count and extras |
Should you pay per slide or per deck?
- Per slide: easy to compare. Agree the slide count first, or a deck split into more slides raises the bill.
- Per hour: suits a fluid brief, at $35–$60 for Upwork designers, but the total is unknown until the end.
- Per deck: one price for a defined result, with a written scope of slides, charts and formats.
- Per month: reserved hours. Good for steady volume, wasteful for one deck a quarter.
Whatever the unit, convert it to the cost of your finished deck. Twenty slides show how far the answers drift.
| Source | Arithmetic | Total |
|---|---|---|
| 24Slides, Fix Up | 20 × $16 | $320 |
| 24Slides, Redesign | 20 × $43 | $860 |
| 24Slides, Redraw | 20 × $66 | $1,320 |
| PPT Design, its own sales-deck example | 16 redesigned slides × $35 + 4 custom visuals × $75 | $860, two revision rounds included |
| Whitepage, professional tier for sales decks | 20 × $20–$50 | $400–$1,000 |
| Nexaflow, sales deck | Slide count, sales process and content quality set the price | $1,500–$6,000+ |
The spread, nearly 19 times, is mostly scope. A per-slide rate prices layout work; an agency deck price adds structure, custom visuals and someone who coordinates revisions.
What changes the price of a presentation?
- Text and structure: Hype Presentations charges £975 per 20 slides for storytelling and content development on top of design. Whitepage says strategic input is what separates its $20–$50 tier from $250–$600+ a slide.
- Custom charts and diagrams: PPT Design charges $75 for a custom visual against $35 for a redesign of an existing slide, $40 more a slide.
- Animation: Hype’s cheapest package includes simple animation, its Premium package adds advanced animation, motion and video, and Upwork lists a 20–40 slide animated keynote at $800–$3,000.
- A reusable master: Upwork lists a branded template with 10–15 layouts at $400–$1,200, PPT Design starts one at $500, and Nexaflow quotes $1,500–$8,000+ for a full template system.
- Rush: Whitepage says rush fees add 25–50%. 24Slides sells 24, 48 and 72-hour turnarounds on its pay-as-you-go plan.
- Revisions and volume: PPT Design includes two rounds and takes 10% off 100 slides or more; Hype’s packages include one, two or three rounds and add 10 slides for £975.
How do sales, company and keynote decks compare on price?
Few pages price a sales deck on its own. Nexaflow ties the price to how many sellers will use it, because a deck adapted to different buyers needs modular sections and a master.
| Deck type | Published range | Source and scope |
|---|---|---|
| 10-slide sales deck | $1,000–$3,500 | Nexaflow, 2026-06-09: more structure, offer clarity and visual polish |
| Sales deck, any length | $1,500–$6,000+ | Nexaflow: slide count, sales process, content quality and number of buyer types |
| Company presentation, 20 slides | $2,000–$6,000+ | Nexaflow: depends on messaging and brand assets |
| Corporate redesign, 15–30 slides | $300–$1,500 | Upwork: reformatting existing slides, icons, images |
| Conference keynote, 20–40 slides | $800–$3,000 | Upwork: custom animation, handout deck |
| Branded master template | $400–$1,200 (Upwork); from $500 (PPT Design); $1,500–$8,000+ (Nexaflow) | Number of layouts and usage rules |
Does PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides or Canva change the price?
Hype Presentations answers directly: the price does not change with the software, because it designs in Figma first and then builds in your platform. What matters is the editable file you receive, because a deck moved between apps can break fonts and animations.
| Tool | Cost to use | What it means for a designer’s quote |
|---|---|---|
| PowerPoint | Microsoft 365 Personal $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year; Office Home 2024 $179.99 once | The common default; ask for editable .pptx, not only a PDF |
| Keynote | Free; Apple Creator Studio at $12.99 a month adds premium templates and graphics | Free for Apple users; send anyone outside that ecosystem a PDF or a PowerPoint copy too |
| Canva | Free; Pro US$144 a year per person | Fast edits by non-designers; check how far the file stays editable elsewhere |
Freelancer, studio, agency or in-house: who should build your deck?
- Freelancer: right for a clean-up or one deck with the story settled; Whitepage puts a mid-level freelancer at $500–$1,500 for 10 slides.
- Small studio, per slide: right when you have the content and want the visuals redrawn.
- Agency: right when the deck must also fix the argument, or many sellers will use it. SlideModel and Whitepage both print $1,500–$5,000+ for typical agency decks.
- In-house: right at several decks a month. At $2,000–$9,000 a month it costs as much as two to ten decks at the $860 example above.
- Subscription: right for a steady flow of requests, poor value at one a month.

The sales package returns a sales narrative, a proof hierarchy and an editable master. It takes 2–4 working days.
When should you build the deck yourself?
- The deck is internal, short-lived or a draft: Whitepage says template tools at $99–$199 a year suit low-stakes decks.
- You have the text and the order of the argument and only need a clean layout.
- No buyer, investor or board will judge your company by these slides.
- The product, pricing or message will change within weeks.
What should a quote spell out?
- Slide count, and what a slide is: a title slide and a process diagram rarely cost the same.
- Who writes and orders the content, and whether that work has its own line.
- How many custom visuals, charts and animated slides are inside the price.
- Revision rounds: what counts as one, and the hourly cost of the next.
- Files: editable source in the app you use, plus a PDF, and who owns them.
- Fonts, stock images and licences: included, or passed through.
- Turnaround and the rush fee.
How VITON13 does it
We begin with the commercial story you already have: the offer, the proof you can show, the objections you hear and the step you want the buyer to take. That becomes a sales narrative, the order of the argument; a proof hierarchy, which evidence leads each slide and which supports it; and an editable master your team can reuse. In the AI-assisted mode AI drafts structure and layouts and a person reviews and signs off; in the human-led mode a person leads and AI assists. After a short brief we fix the slide count, extras, revision count and exclusions in writing, before production.

PILOTPilot in progress
No published sales deck case yet
VITON13 has not yet published a sales deck made for a client with the client’s results, so none are invented here. Every outside figure comes from a source below, the 20-slide totals are arithmetic shown on the page, and the studio’s own prices appear only as current starting prices. A first pilot will be shown with the client’s approval.
What this does not prove
- The 20-slide totals apply other vendors’ published rates. They do not show what your deck will cost, or whether a better deck raises your close rate.
Questions and answers
How much should a freelancer charge for a PowerPoint presentation?
Published rates cluster at $35–$60 an hour on Upwork and $15–$75 a slide at small studios. Quote the deck, not the slide: PPT Design and 24Slides both split rates by effort, which cuts scope arguments. Add a flat fee for master slides, state the revision rounds, and charge extra for rush, which Whitepage puts at 25–50%.
How much does a 10-slide presentation cost?
SlideModel (February 2025) puts a freelancer at $200–$500 and an agency at $1,000–$3,000; Nexaflow gives $1,000–$3,500 for a 10-slide sales deck. Ten slides at PPT Design’s redesign rate come to $350. The gap is scope: story, charts and animation.
Does the price include writing the slide text?
Usually not. Per-slide rates assume you supply the words, and Hype Presentations prices storytelling and content development separately at £975 per 20 slides. If you arrive with notes, ask for writing and ordering as its own line, so quotes that include it compare fairly with those that do not.
How long does presentation design take?
PPT Design says most projects take 3–7 business days, and 24Slides sells 24, 48 and 72-hour turnarounds per slide on pay-as-you-go. Agencies with discovery and several revision rounds take longer. VITON13 delivers sales presentation design in 2–4 working days after the brief is approved.
Can AI replace a presentation designer?
For internal drafts, often yes: Canva Pro costs US$144 a year and Whitepage says template tools suit low-stakes decks. A tool will not decide what a buyer needs to see first, and Whitepage’s view is that most failed decks are unclear, not ugly.
Who owns the files, and which formats should I ask for?
Ask for the editable source in the app your team uses, plus a PDF. PPT Design lists editable PowerPoint files and a PDF in every project. Get ownership, fonts and licences in writing; this is a buying note, not legal advice, so ask a lawyer about contract terms.
What does VITON13 need to start a sales deck?
Send the business result you want, the current deck or notes, constraints such as brand rules, and the date. We turn that into a testable scope before production and pick one observable signal, such as offer clarity or lead quality.
